Velvets are the go to fabric for furniture, and it is all about layering with your soft furnishings and window treatments.
Using different textures and fabrics from luxurious velvets and silks to more natural linens, along with chunky throws, tassels and short fringing.
It is now more of what you like rather than trying to create and stick with a particular style of interior.
