Bathroom Blinds – Choosing The Best Blinds For Wet Areas On The Far South Coast Of NSW!
“What is the best blind for a bathroom? ”, is one question I am asked frequently. Selecting the wrong product will most likely result in your window furnishings not lasting as long as they should.
There are definitely some stylish and practical solutions available when it comes to choosing a suitable blind for your bathroom or en suite.
I recommend the following options, as I believe they are the most suitable for Merimbula and surrounding areas.
Faux wood Venetians and Shutters or Powder Coated Aluminium Shutters.
The ideal Faux wood shutter would be our Norman Woodbury (ABS) shutter or Two Australia Polytherm (PVC) which are man-made materials developed for, but not restricted to, moisture area applications.
If moisture comes into contact with these materials it does not cause damage.
They are available in a great range of painted colours as well as blade sizes.
The ideal Aluminium Shutter would be our Two Australia Weatherwell powder coated shutter, as it is suitable for exteriors and braving our Bermagui to Mallacoota’s coastlines. It is also a perfect solution for internal wet areas, as it delivers strength and durability with a style all of its own.
They are available in a range of powder coat colours, timber grain finishes as well as blade sizes.
The ideal Faux wood venetian would be our Econo wood (PVC) Venetian, as it is processed at high temperatures to create an extremely strong and durable product. The material is UV stabilized and with the UV protector combined throughout the material to increase its suitability for a wide range of environmental conditions, such as those found in Pambula Beach on the Far South Coast of NSW.
Due to its non-absorbent characteristics, it is extremely suitable for wet areas. It is easy to clean and a low maintenance product, which is great for heavy use applications.
The Econo venetian blinds are available in 50mm or 63mm slat size as well as a great range of colours.
